I’m not the type who really likes to talk about myself, so what should I say? If you’ve seen my social media profiles, that’s a pretty good overview, but as I’m limited on space, it really just scratches the surface.
I guess it really boils down to, why would you want to sit down and have a beer with me? (Or coffee if you prefer).
Basically, I like to laugh, so am usually quick with a smile or a bad joke. I try to stay pretty well rounded and have a wide variety of interests. You can usually get me involved fairly easily in discussions on everything from cars and motorcycles to lacrosse to movies to books, current events and everything in between.
I’m very analytical and am definitely a marketing geek. I absolutely love it. As I have an MBA and a MS in Marketing, I’m highly educated, but don’t hold that against me. I have a strong background in direct mail and internet marketing but am fascinated by branding, product development, marketing strategy, consumer research and truthfully, I could easily go on and on. I negotiate deals quite a bit in my current job and have found that I enjoy it. I also have a bit of an entreprenurial spirit so am often bubbling over with ideas I want to explore.
I love to travel and have been to Ireland, England, Mexico and China. I hope to add many more stamps to my passport before I need to renew it though! Someday, I think I would like to work for a company that has international dealings.
I manage the website for the Tae Kwon Do school I teach at and help run. I cover the Colorado Mammoth for ProSportsColorado.com. I’m an avid photographer. You can find some of my work at Blue Kitten Photography. I do try to do quite a bit of volunteer work. You’ll often find me at a Max Fund event or occasionally down at the shelter walking dogs. Most recently I’ve been working to launch a pet project I started in December, Fans Help. With it I want to use micro-lending to unite passionate people with local non-profits around what they’re passionate about.
